A former commissioner in Ondo State, Princess Omowumi Olatunji has declared her senatorial ambition in Akure, the capital city of Ondo State, saying she remains the answer to the myriad of challenges facing Ondo Central Senatorial District.
She made the official declaration at the Akure City Hall whiere she addressed mammoth crowd during the 2022 remembrance of her mother, Monisola Eddo.
While speaking, Omowumi said she has all the credentials both political and academics qualification to represent the good people of the senatorial district at the Red Chamber.
The former commissioner revealed that, despite the roles of women in political activities in the state, no woman has been elected into the Red Chamber since the creation of Ondo State in 1976, saying now is the time of women.
